Emergency Food Boxes Available from Farry’s Office
LANGHORNE–Rep. Frank Farry (R-Bucks) would like to inform residents that Emergency Food Boxes, known as EBoxes, are available in his district office at 370 East Maple Ave., Suite 203, in Langhorne.

Eboxes weigh 30 pounds and contain shelf-stable food for three meals for a family of four to last for about three days. The boxes also include information on agencies that can help provide food more regularly.

Farry and Philabundance are working together to provide emergency food to the needy in Lower Bucks County. Emergency Food Boxes are available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment.

“During these tough economic times, my office is happy to help those in need,” said Farry. “In addition to providing the food boxes, we can also talk to residents about state programs like LIHEAP and the Children’s Health Insurance Program that might be able to provide other types of assistance on a regular basis.”

While they are not meant to be a continuous source of food, the Eboxes serve as an immediate help to hold a family over until Philabundance can connect them with an agency for additional assistance.

For more information about the Emergency Food Boxes, contact Farry’s office at (215) 752-6750.

Philabundance is a regional hunger relief organization, which provides a reliable source of food to individuals and families in need in nine Delaware Valley counties.
